I decided to join this dolphin swimming retreat very last minute, and I’m honestly so glad I did. It turned out to be such a special and memorable experience. I met the most wonderful group of ladies, we ate delicious food, danced, took part in beautiful rituals, enjoyed a sound bath, and of course, had the incredible experience of swimming with dolphins. We were so lucky to come across a pod of around 40 friendly, playful and absolutely gorgeous dolphins — something I’ll never forget. The accommodation was lovely, everything was beautifully put together, and the whole retreat just felt good for the soul. If you’re feeling like you need to reconnect, recharge and have a little “soul food,” I would definitely recommend this retreat. Woweee such an incredible experience to swim with wild dolphins, a bucket-list dream come true. And also to engage with the dolpins on their terms, in their natural environment. This is the most conscious interaction you will experience, as there is no forcing or chasing (as I have experienced in other countries). Courtney reads the dophins' body language and if they invite us to join them, we jump off the boat. Courtney made my 50th birthday trip a once in a lifetime experience for me and my friends. She has such a special relationship with the local dolphins that they delight in playing with her. Even a manta had a moment with her. We were privileged to simply be close by to witness the magic. The accommodation, food that Taryn made for my birthday, and the diving was all spectacular too.
