Danielle Marconi

LPC, NCC, LMT, Reiki Master

As founder of BEND; Mind, body, spirit inter-connectedness and the quality of life are the themes of Danielle’s life.

Danielle has always been interested in alternative medicine. At 16, she was initiated into Reiki level I and by nineteen became a Reiki Master. She earned her BS Psychology at Sacred Heart University and MS Counseling from Chaminade University. Since graduating Magna Cum Laude, she has received her license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and is nationally board certified (NCC). In addition, Danielle studied at The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy and is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). She did her yoga teacher training at Saraswati’s Yoga Joint in Norwalk, CT. Her yoga studies also include intensive workshops with Seane Corne, Bryan Kest, and Cindy Lee.  She has also completed training with Street Yoga.

Danielle is a school counselor in an inner city in southern Connecticut. She is founder of Changes, Choices, and Challenges, learning experience for high school aged youth focused on supporting personal growth through yoga and journaling. She also created Moksa — a holistic program for incarcerated youth.

She has 17 years of experience as both a personal trainer and fitness instructor. She has been trained in yoga, meditation and energy matrix alignment to complement her practice.  Her studies and practice in spirituality continue to be her lifelong passion. Her objectives are simple: touch, motivate, and inspire.

Danielle resides in Milford when she isn’t off seeing the world and all it has to offer.


Chris Stormer-Fryer

A recognised authority on Reflexology and natural healing  worldwide.   For over 24 years Chris has been a keynote and guest speaker at  International Congresses, as well as presenting seminars  throughout the UK, America, Canada, Europe, Australia, New  Zealand, South Africa, China, Japan and the Far East. Now, Chris combines this Universal Knowledge and Experience  with Permaculture, her latest passion.

John Fryer

Co owner and facilitator at the Country Estate
Talented musician and retired business man, John light heartedly entertains guests with amusing anecdotes, fascinating stories about South Africa along with insights into its intriguing history

Courtney Ward

Courtney has been intimately working with the Wild Dolphins of  Southern Mozambique since 1999. Join her on the optional life changing journey to swim with the  magical Wild dolphins of this area. A gifted artist, actor and musician, Courtney will also share the power of vibrational healing in her unique Shamanic Sound  journey. Come drum with us beneath the African stars and at sunrise  breathe into your day with her unique yoga flow.
