To the rhythm of the ocean, the rhythm of family, rhythm of nature and the rhythm of your breath.

With Kerry Weavind and Courtney Ward

9 – 12 August 2018

How does life look in your family picture when you are connected to the rhythm of nature, to SPANDA – the thread that moves through everything, the pulse of life that generates growth and power in everything…

How does this play out in your life, how do you play?

Give up a little control, the detailed planning and feel nature move you, allowing nature to guide your decisions, and bring sweet balance.

We will be using art therapy techniques, writing, meditation and dance to shift negative patterns, freeing us and creating space for us to craft our futures to be closer in alignment with our soul desires. Allow yourself  the time and space to tune in to what your soul is saying. We are creating our lives with every decision we make… Drawing on our exquisite surroundings for inspiration, the symbolism of the dolphin is perfect for our work. The dolphin is a complex animal and has had many different meanings attached to it throughout history, including:

Sanskrit – Spanda – It is the thrill, the sacred vibration or the Sacred Tremor of our Heart

Play as a daily ritual may feel like work at first, but it is a way to step into Lila – the spontaneous creative play of the Universe, and swimming with the dolphins will assist in awakening this light-hearted freedom inherent in all of us.

For a long time I thought I would do all these adventures once my child grew up a bit more, so it is with great joy that I am living this adventure as a mother, with my child right in the mix as he is a part of me and my life experience, he is part of my story and together and separately we weave a tapestry of Lila.

On this retreat, tune into nature, to being natural, to play – from silliness of connecting with our inner child, connect to the child(ren) of the group, to letting ourselves be directed by the feeling of nature – undirected, unself-conscious ebullient play.

Kerry will facilitate child directed-parent yoga and adult yoga.

Meet Your Facilitators :

Kerry Weavind

Kerry is a free spirit, entrepreneur, traveller, yogi, and mother.  Yoga has taken her from New York in ‘99 to East Timor, to India, Peru, Sri Lanka and South Africa where she’s taught and studied. Through yoga, Kerry gained tools for expansion, creativity, trust, creating space between the shallow mind and vast breath.

Kerry has been facilitating learning experiences that are both educational and experiential, from serious to playful, to be a part of a process of getting people in touch with themselves and a potential energy they didn’t know was available to them. Kerry will challenge perceptions, will break old thinking and rules and facilitate new ways of being – all through grounding into the wisdom of the body which is closest to nature than mind and which knows the present moment.
